SBI PO Exam 2017 – Notification, Dates, Eligibility Criteria

State Bank of India every year comes out with huge number of vacancies for recruitment of eligible candidates to the post of Probationary Officers. The Bank will Publish the notification in May, 2017 Candidates who aspires to join SBI as a Probationary Officers, is required to register online for the recruitment process. The SBI PO 2017 online exam will be recruitment process. The SBI PO 2017 online will be conducted in two phases – Preliminary and Mains Exam. Shortlisted candidates of the Preliminary Examination will appear for the Mains Examinations. Subsequently, those qualifying the Mains Examination will be called for a Group Discussion and Interview.

The selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category. Check details of Eligibility Criteria, Application Form, Selection Procedure, Admit Card, Result and Cutoff.

Educational Qualification:

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the final year/semester of their graduation can also apply.

Selection Process

• Selection process will be done on the basis of Online Examination (Preliminary and Mains) and Group Discussion and Interview.
• Candidates who will clear the prelims Examination will appear for the mains Exam/ Those qualifying the mains Exam will be called for the Group discussion and Interview.
• Candidates will be shortlisted for appointments on the basis of mains Examination and Group Discussion and interview.

Application Form

• Candidates before applying should read the eligibility criteria carefully to ensure that they are eligible to apply for the Exam.
• Eligible Candidates will have to apply online for the Exam.
• Online editing of Application Form will be available for stipulated tome period Only.
• Application Fees will have to be paid online. The Application Fees for General Category candidates is Rs. 600 and SC/ST/PWD is Rs. 100.

Important Dates

• Release of Online Application Form – May 1st week 2017.
• SBI PO Preliminary Exam – July 1st week 2017.
• SBI PO Main Exam – July Last week 2017.
• Release of E-Admit Card for Interview – August End 2017.
• Declaration of Final Result – September End 2017.
